The Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree program offered through Boise State University’s Graduate College is for students who currently possess a bachelor degree earned from an accredited university or four-year college. This 30-credit program can be completed in just five semesters, or about two and a half years. Students who choose to complete Boise State University’s Master of Education in Educational Leadership program will need to participate in a field-based internship and complete a capstone research project prior to graduation.

Idaho State University
College of Education
The College of Education at Idaho State University offers undergraduate and graduate programs for those students who are interested in a variety of educational fields. At the present time, prospective students of Idaho State University will find programs in the areas of school psychology, educational studies, teaching, organizational learning and performance, and educational leadership. In addition to Idaho State University’s Master of Education in Educational Leadership program, the College of Education also offers doctoral and master level programs in instructional design technology and educational administration.
Educational Leadership M.Ed.
The Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree program offered by Idaho State University’s College of Education is designed to prepare students for leadership positions in post-secondary environments. This is an intensive 31-credit program that consists of three core requirement courses, six educational leadership courses, an internship, and an individualized case study. Internships typically consist of about 260 hours of work to be determined by the sponsoring agencies, the university’s internship coordinator, and the individual student.

Northwest Nazarene University
Department of Education
Northwest Nazarene University is a Christian-focused higher education facility dedicated to providing quality instruction for its students. Its Department of Education provides top-notch training for persons who are interested in such areas as elementary or secondary education, special education, organizational development and leadership, and educational leadership. This is a unique facility in that it offers several associate degree programs in addition to its many bachelor, master, and doctorate degree programs.
M.Ed. Educational Leadership
The Master of Education in Educational Leadership program at Northwest Nazarene University is offered through the Department of Education’s Graduate Studies in Education division. This program can be completed online and typically takes about 21 months for students to finish. Before students can graduate from the M.Ed. Educational Leadership program, they will need to participate in an orientation for graduate education programs, complete a variety of coursework pertaining to educational leadership and administration, complete an internship (to be approved by the Graduate Studies in Education division), and submit an internship portfolio.

The University of Idaho’s College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences offers a large variety of programs in such areas as education, healthcare, anthropology, psychology, and sociology. Educational Leadership, M.Ed.
University of Idaho’s Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree program provides exceptional training for those students who would like to obtain such positions as superintendents, school principals, program administrators, or classroom instructors. This program is available online for students who are unable to attend traditional classroom lectures. Examples of program content include an internship and courses pertaining to educational policies and politics, ethical leadership, school finance, educational research, supervision of personnel, and principalship. Internships last about nine months and must be approved by the program coordinator.
